Challenge
Many existing file transfer clients are either aging desktop applications or Electron-based tools that consume significant resources. The challenge was to create a modern, lightweight and reliable alternative without sacrificing protocol support or transfer stability.
Solution
Nyx provides a unified interface for SFTP, FTP and FTPS connections, secure credential storage through the operating system keychain, host-key and certificate validation, resumable transfers and a real-time transfer queue. The application is rendered natively using GPUI for fast startup times and smooth performance.
